Hi, I am David Herron.

In high school, I discovered a love for photoshop and translated this passion into a role as the photo-editor for yearbook class, during my senior year. But my love for photography and portrait-design wouldn't be personally revisited, until a decade later. In 2011, I started pursuing an education, double-majoring in graphic design and music (piano).

In 2019, I embarked on a transformative marketing journey as I was hired at TPC (True Potential Chiropractic), a reputable Health center in Beaverton, OR. There, my role was to be the community outreach specialist—the team in charge of getting new people and fresh faces through the front door. Over the course of a year and a half, my time at TPC proved to be invaluable. Through diligent efforts and trial & error, I honed my skills in marketing, design, cinematic prodiction, ad-creation, website-management, and the creation of targeted advertisement campaigns; the business’ positive and supportive attitude helped allow me to make a significant impact on the their outreach initiatives and community engagement.

Meanwhile, my older brother–Daniel, also a designer–immersed himself in photography during his post-college days and honed his skills over the years-working for companies like Nike and CountryOutfitter.

Witnessing his aesthetic taste and professional imagery was an inspiring thing. There's something special about a designer who sets aside their tools to pick up a camera and explore the world. The process of setting up and framing a shot, while considering post-editing needs, is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. It's through embracing this challenge that one can refine their skills and create stunning artwork. Hard work and dedication are key ingredients for a fulfilling creative journey. Thanks to my brother's old Canon camera, I owe him for cultivating my love for photography and deepening my understanding of this art form.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity about human behavior, I took a decisive step to pursue a degree in behavioral psychology, a field that fascinated me deeply. This choice was guided by a genuine passion to understand the intricacies of how individuals think, act, and make decisions. By delving into the theoretical foundations and practical applications of behavioral psychology, I sought to enhance my ability to connect with people on a profound level.

In 2022, I ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing Herron Studios, LLC, a venture that encapsulates my creative vision and professional aspirations. However, prior to launching my own business, I had the distinct honor of collaborating with the city of McMinnville. They entrusted me with the task of capturing compelling photographs of their esteemed public works buildings and facilities, including notable landmarks like the fire department, post office, and airport. By providing them with high-quality imagery, I contributed to their website's successful redesign, enriching the visual appeal and engaging visitors on a deeper level.

Throughout my journey, I have remained dedicated to continuous learning and personal growth. In pursuit of expanding my knowledge and skills, I have also been actively pursuing education in behavioral psychology. This academic endeavor allows me to incorporate psychological insights into my photography, enabling me to capture genuine moments that resonate with viewers on an emotional level.

As I embark on this creative endeavor with Herron Studios, LLC, I humbly bring together my diverse expertise, creative acumen, and deep understanding of human behavior. It is my sincerest hope that through my work, I can create visually stunning and emotionally compelling imagery that leaves a lasting impact on those who engage with it.
